Prostate cancer: the culprit - obesity
American researchers have apparently established a close link between obesity and death due to prostate cancer. An excessively high body mass index (BMI) does not cause this disease, but it does aggravate it. For the record, this index is calculated by dividing weight in kilos by height in metres squared. It should stand at between 20 and 25 for adults in good health. Between 25 and 30 it indicates excess weight, and over 30, obesity. -- Prostate cancer: the culprit - obesity |
